We had an incredible stay at Emaa Mara Camp. With only seven tents, the atmosphere is so peaceful and intimate—it truly felt like a private sanctuary. Being just minutes from the Ololaimutiek Gate was a huge plus, as we were among the first out on the plains for our sunrise game drives. Coming back to a hot shower in our en-suite tent and then sharing stories around the campfire was the highlight of our evenings. The local team treated us like family!

If you want to witness the Great Migration without the crowds, this is the place. The location is strategic for catching the river crossings, and the staff's knowledge of the wildlife is exceptional. We loved the private verandas; sitting out there and listening to the sounds of the savannah was so relaxing. The food was fresh and delicious, and having reliable Wi-Fi in the common areas allowed us to share our leopard sightings with friends back home immediately. Highly recommend!

Emaa Mara Camp exceeded all our expectations. The tents are beautifully furnished and surprisingly luxurious for such an authentic camp. We went on several game drives and saw the Big Five within our first two days! The convenience of secure parking for our 4x4 was great, but the hospitality is what really stands out. There is nothing quite like sipping a sundowner while the sun sets over the Mara. We’ll definitely be back for the 2026 season!
